Robert was a Patron of the Commonwealth Disabled People’s Forum from our relaunch in New York June 12th 2019 at the COSP meeting that year United Nations.
Richard Rieser: “I knew Robert from the days at the Ad Hoc Committee in 2005/2006 when we were struggling for Inclusive Education to be adopted in the UNCRPD. Robert was a self advocate with learning difficulties and was a powerful advocate for Disability Rights for All and Inclusive Ecucation. He will be much missed by the Movement that has far too few self advocates amongst our Leadership.”
